Travel grant application
Depending on funding, travel grants may be available to students and early career scientists (PhD + 5 years) with proof. Applicants must have submitted an abstract for the conference as the first or unique author. Grants would either cover flights or accommodation or waiver on registration fees.
Applicants must submit a reference letter (supervisor for students, head of Department/team/laboratory for early career scientists), one-page CV and a letter of motivation indicating the available resources to cover their participation and the requested support from the local organizing committee.

Visa
To apply for a Ghana visa, visit the official Ghana High Commission or Consulate general website for your location and follow the guidelines provided. Your may be required to complete an application form, upload supporting documents, make the application fees payment, and/or submit hard copies of the form and documents as directed.
Other Important Considerations: Processing Time: Visa processing times may vary based on location. Check the Ghana High Commission or Consulate general website for your location for accurate visa processing times. It’s advisable to apply for your visa well in advance of your intended travel date. Express services may be available.

- Completed and signed visa application form.
- Original passport valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay.
- Passport-sized photographs.
- Proof of financial means.
- Flight and accommodation reservations.
- Letter of consent from parent/legal guardian for children under 18.
- Invitation letter.
